C Programming : difference between microprocessor ,microprogram asambaly lo hi lave;l language




Microprocessors :

A microprocessor is most commonly an integrated circuit on a single chip. The microprocessor interfaces with the clock, memory and input and output devices.


Microprogram:

A microprogram is the control language built into a processor or microprocessor. These commands let the system carry out basic instructions. This stored-program logic substitutes for hardwired control circuitry. Microprograms are components of all computer CPU s.

Difference :

A microprogram is a component of a microprocessor, albeit a vital one. The microprocessor is primarily hardware. It is the central integrated circuit chip that is the "brain" of a microcomputer. The microprogram is made up of the logical and arithmetical steps the microprocessor uses to carry out a process
